OCEARCH leads global shark research through open-source expeditions aboard the M/V OCEARCH and its Shark Tracker platform.
At a critical stage of the organization’s growth, Mindsoil worked with founder Chris Fischer to shape the long-term story behind the mission. The goal: position OCEARCH as a credible scientific movement, not a television spectacle.
Mindsoil designed the expedition content system, led an eight-person creative team, coordinated storytelling across partners including Caterpillar, Yamaha, YETI, Mote Marine Laboratory, and Lawry’s.
During the Jacksonville expedition, the crew produced a 3–4 minute documentary short every day for 10 days, edited aboard the vessel while research continued.
Today the OCEARCH YouTube channel reaches a global audience with millions of views, strengthening its reputation in science-driven exploration.
